Jeffrey Halford And The Healers

Two Family Generations Celebrating Original Music at the Famed Sweetwater Music Hall,

Thursday, September 19, 2024

LA Weekly called Halford "one of the best voices in Americana today.”

Nashville Scene called him "one of the best slide players on the planet.”

(Mill Valley, CA, August 12, 2024 ) –  Bay area rock Americana favorites Jeffrey Halford and The Healers, take the stage on Thursday, September 19th at the iconic Sweetwater Music Hall. After over 3 decades of playing his signature country/blues/rock style throughout the world, Jeffrey returns home to play this personally important gig, with his daughter Hannah Halford opening the show.  The  night represents the perfect send-off to his upcoming European tour of The Netherlands, Germany and Belgium,  marking his 7th  tour in Europe, now an annual request to return for major music festivals and original music clubs. His most recent album release, Soul Crusade, rose to #1 on the Euro Americana charts.

Since moving to San Francisco in 1977, Jeffrey began a music career where he honed his early music chops alongside Harry Spider and Jimmy Ventilator, Oakland blues legends Sonny Lane, Mississippi Johnny Waters and J.J. Malone. Over the last 30 years, Halford has been touring the country with his band, the Healers. They have played shows with some of music’s most acclaimed artists and songwriters — as well as Halford’s influences — such as Taj Mahal, Los Lobos, George Thorogood, Gregg Allman, Etta James, John Hammond, and Texas Greats Augie Meyers, Guy Clark and Robert Earl Keen.

Halford is a regular supporter of non-profit music programs, including Bread & Roses, who is promoting the night, and celebrating 50 years of “hope and healing through live music.”
